Our Story

Swoopin'D Tailgate began as a group of passionate Chargers fans who believed tailgating was about more than football. What started as friends gathering on game days grew into a community built on friendship, generosity, and giving back.

For years, Swoopin'D has organized charitable initiatives, supported local families, participated in community events, and helped unite fans through a shared commitment to making a positive impact.

In 2026, that commitment led us to officially become a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, allowing us to expand our outreach and create even more opportunities to serve our community.

Our Mission

To unite the Chargers fan community to create a positive impact through charitable tailgates, fundraising events, and community service initiatives that support youth programs, families experiencing hardship, and nonprofit organizations throughout Southern California.

Swoopin'D Tailgate was founded by longtime Chargers fans to bring people together through tailgating, community service, and charitable giving. While we proudly support the Chargers, Swoopin'D Tailgate operates independently and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Los Angeles Chargers or the NFL.
